Volleyball is starting soon and I want to be ready and in shape so what are some ways to prepare for volleyball?
Practice practice practice! You can do many types of drills that you don’t even have to go to a gym for. You can have a family member or a friend or someone toss you high balls so you can practice spiking and your approach. Practice all your skills a lot and do some ab work because volleyball needs a lot of strength in your core even though it may seem arm strength is the most important. However, your core is what is powering a lot of your spiking and serving. Do some push-ups for some arm strength too. Hope that helps!

SPRINTS! haha… well depends.. I’m libero so I have to be ”the fastest” uhmmm practice your vertical, coaches like girls who can JUMP high! play with some friends or someone, and practice being loud and positive on the court. the keys to making the team are
1. attitude
2. skills
practice controling the ball to where you want it to go too
hope i helped. (:

I hear ya sister. Our tryouts are next week then two-a-days :0!! What i think that really helps is to lift weights and do sprints. Basically just do things that make it hard for you to breath (except actually holding your breath:D).

Eat lots of noodles, may sound weird, but it works. I also do crunches for volleyball and long distance running.
